In order to ensure the maximum performance from your oil fed Aga we recommend:

• When ordering kerosene (heating oil) for your Aga it is important that you inform us you are using the oil in an Aga (or a similar oil cooker which burns the fuel using a wick.) It is important that there are no traces of diesel in the oil supply to a wick cooker.
• Only use 28 second kerosene and do not add any additives to the supply.
• Avoid changing the temperature on your Aga.
• Make sure that you have a paper filter installed in the filter bowl at the oil tank. This filter must be made of paper and capable of stopping particles greater than 5 microns. The filter should be changed each year when your Aga is serviced.
• Service your Aga annually with an approved service engineer.
